Results of a new national expectation poll carried out by ABC News/Washington Post were distributed. The expectation poll asked participants who the next US president would be.
According to the results, 59.0% of participants expect an election victory for Clinton, while 36.0% foresee a win for Trump. This poll was conducted , among a random sample of 1000 adults. Results have a +/-3.5 percentage points sampling error.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.6% for the Democrats and 48.4% for the Republicans. The vote share of the democrats corresponds to the average results of the other polls.
