NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist published the results of a new poll on March 28. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 57.0% of respondents will vote for the Democratic party, while 32.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 among 1968 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
