NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll in Illinois: Republicans are behind
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist were circulated on March 26. The poll asked respondents from Illinois for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results show that 57.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, whereas 32.0% said they would vote for the Republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10 among 1968 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrat Clinton and 36.0% for the Republican Trump.
