NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll in Illinois: Republicans are behind
NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist published the results of a new poll on March 29. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 57.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 32.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was in the field between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 1968 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
