NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist published the results of a new poll on April 4. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 57.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic party, whereas 32.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 1968 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 64.0% for Hillary Clinton and 36.0% for Donald Trump.
