NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll in Florida: Republicans are behind
On March 24, NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results reveal that 49.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 2422 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.0 percentage points.
According to other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.4% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.6% for Donald Trump. The vote share for the Republicans is 3.2 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Florida.
