NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ poll in Ohio: Republicans are behind
NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ published the results of a new poll on April 4. In this poll, respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 48.0% of respondents would vote for the Democratic party, while 42.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was in the field between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 2052 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.2 percentage points.
According to other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.7% for the Republican Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio the Democrats did worse in this poll.
