NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ poll in Ohio: Democrats are leading
NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ published the results of a new poll on March 25. In this poll, respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 48.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic party, while 42.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 with 2052 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.2 percentage points margin of error.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the Democrats and 46.7% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio the Democrats did worse in this poll.
