On March 25, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 39.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, whereas 48.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from August 7 to August 9 with 859 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 points.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 44.8% for the Democrat Clinton and 55.2% for the Republican Trump. The vote share for the Republicans is 1.0 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Missouri.
