On April 3, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 39.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, while 48.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was conducted between August 7 and August 9. The sample size was 859 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-3.3 points.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.8% for the Democrats and 55.2% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Missouri the Republicans did worse in this poll.
