Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on April 3. The poll asked respondents from Minnesota for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 44.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democratic party, whereas 39.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2 among 1015 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-3.1 points.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrats and 47.0% for the Republicans. The Democrats did worse by 1.6 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Minnesota.
