Michigan: New NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ poll shows Republicans behind
Results of a new poll carried out by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ were published on April 2. The poll asked participants from Michigan for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who answered the question, 52.0% revealed that they intend to vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 1 to March 3 with 2229 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.1 percentage points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.1% for the Democrat Clinton and 40.9% for Trump.
