Michigan: New NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ poll shows Democrats leading
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ were circulated on April 5. The poll asked participants from Michigan for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 52.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 36.0% are going to vote for Trump. The poll was in the field between March 1 and March 3. The sample size was 2229 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.1 percentage points margin of error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.1% for the Democrat Clinton and 40.9% for the Republican Trump.
