Latest SurveyUSASUSA poll in North Carolina: Democrats trail by a small margin
On March 27, SurveyUSASUSA released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from North Carolina were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 43.0% of participants will vote for the Democrats, while 45.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from February 14 to February 16 with 1250 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-2.8 percentage points margin of error.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.9% for the Democrats and 51.1% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in North Carolina the Republicans did worse in this poll.
