Latest QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll in Ohio: Republicans with small lead
On March 23, QuinnipiacQuinnipiac released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results reveal that 42.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, whereas 44.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from February 16 to February 20 with 1539 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 percentage points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.8% for the Democrats and 51.2% for the Republicans.
