Latest QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll in Ohio: Republicans hold small lead
Results of a new poll carried out by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were distributed on April 3. The poll asked respondents from Ohio for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 42.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% are going to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from February 16 to February 20 with 1539 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.5 points.
According to other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.8% for the Democrats and 51.2% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 3.4 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Ohio.
