Latest QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll in New York: Republicans trail by a very clear margin
On April 1, QuinnipiacQuinnipiac released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from New York were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 53.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democrats, while 33.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from March 22 to March 29, among a random sample of 1667 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.4 percentage points sampling error.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 61.6% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 38.4% for the Republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 0.0 percentage points under the average results of other polls in New York.
