Latest QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll in Connecticut: Republicans trail by a clear margin
Results of a new poll conducted by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were distributed on April 4. The poll asked participants from Connecticut for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who answered the question, 47.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 40.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from October 7 to October 11, among a random sample of 1735 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
