On April 1, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Minnesota were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results reveal that 44.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democratic party, while 39.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted between July 30 and August 2. The sample size was 1015 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 percentage points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrat Clinton and 47.0% for the Republican Trump.
