Latest EmersonEmerson poll in New York: Democrats hold very clear advantage
Results of a new poll conducted by EmersonEmerson were released on March 23. The poll asked respondents from New York for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 55.0% of respondents would vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, while 36.0% would vote for Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from March 14 to March 16 among 768 likely voters. The error margin is +/-3.5 points.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.4% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.6% for the Republican Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York the Democrats did better in this poll.
