Iowa: Recent PPP (D)PPP (D) poll: Democrats at 45%
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on March 26. The poll asked participants from Iowa for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 45.0% of interviewees intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 43.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from December 10 to December 13 with 1426 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.6 percentage points margin of error.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.1% for the Democrats and 48.9% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.7 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Iowa.
