Iowa: Democrats hold small advantage in recent PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were published on April 1. The poll asked respondents from Iowa for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 45.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from December 10 to December 13, among a random sample of 1426 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.6 percentage points margin of error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.1% for Hillary Clinton and 48.9% for the Republican Donald Trump.
