Results of a new poll carried out by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist were published on March 31. The poll asked respondents from Illinois for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results show that 57.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrat Clinton, whereas 32.0% said they would vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was in the field between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 1968 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
