Illinois: New NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll shows Republicans trailing
On March 25, NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 57.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 32.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 1968 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrat Clinton and 36.0% for the Republican Trump.
