Illinois: Lead for Democrats in new PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on March 28. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 51.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 33.0% plan to vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted between July 20 and July 21. The sample size was 931 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the Democrat Clinton and 39.3% for the Republican Trump.
