Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on April 5. The poll asked participants from Florida for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 44.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the Democrats, while 46.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from February 24 to February 25, among a random sample of 1012 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.1 percentage points sampling error. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.9% for Clinton and 51.1% for the Republican Trump.
