Florida: Comfortable lead for Democrats in QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll
On April 1, QuinnipiacQuinnipiac released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 46.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 41.0% plan to vote for Trump. This poll was conducted from September 25 to October 5, among a random sample of 1173 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.9 points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the Democrat Clinton and 47.1% for the Republican Trump.
