Florida: Comfortable lead for Democrats in latest QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll
Results of a new poll conducted by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were circulated on April 2. The poll asked participants from Florida for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 46.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from September 25 to October 5 with 1173 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.9 percentage points margin of error. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 52.9% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.1% for the Republican Donald Trump.
