Florida: Clear advantage for Democrats in recent NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist were released on March 27. The poll asked participants from Florida for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 49.0% revealed that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 41.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 with 2422 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.0 percentage points margin of error.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.4% for the Democrat Clinton and 45.6% for the Republican Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Florida the Republicans did better in this poll.
