EmersonEmerson poll in Wisconsin: Democrats are ahead
On April 4, EmersonEmerson released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Wisconsin were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who answered the question, 47.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from March 20 to March 22 with 922 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.2 points.
In comparison with other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 55.3% for the Democrat Clinton and 44.7% for the Republican Trump. The Democrats did better by 0.7 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
