PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 4. In this poll, respondents from Virginia were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 49.0% of participants would vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% would vote for Party. The poll was carried out from July 13 to July 15 with 1170 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.9 percentage points error margin.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.7% for the Democrats and 44.3% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 0.8 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Virginia.
