Results of a new poll conducted by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ were published on March 29. The poll asked respondents from Ohio for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 48.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 42.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10 with 2052 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.2 points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for Hillary Clinton and 46.7% for Donald Trump.
