Results of a new poll carried out by NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ were circulated on March 25. The poll asked participants from New Hampshire for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who answered the question, 45.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, while 44.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from January 2 to January 7 with 957 registered voters.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.6% for Clinton and 49.4% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New Hampshire the Democrats did better in this poll.
