Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on March 25. The poll asked participants from Minnesota for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results show that 44.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democratic party, while 39.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. This poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2, among a random sample of 1015 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 points.
In comparison with other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrats and 47.0% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.6 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
