Democrats lead in Illinois by 25 points in new NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist poll
NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ/Marist published the results of a new poll on March 27. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 57.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 32.0% are going to vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was carried out between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 1968 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrat Clinton and 36.0% for the Republican Trump.
