Democrats lead in Illinois by 18 points in new PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 3. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 51.0% of participants plan to vote for Clinton, while 33.0% plan to vote for Trump. The poll was carried out from July 20 to July 21 with 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for Hillary Clinton and 39.3% for the Republican Donald Trump.
