Democrats lead in Illinois by 18 points in latest PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were released on March 26. The poll asked participants from Illinois for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 51.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 33.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from July 20 to July 21 among 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the Democrats and 39.3% for the Republicans.
