Democrats lead in Connecticut by 7 points in new QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll
QuinnipiacQuinnipiac published the results of a new poll on March 24. In this poll, respondents from Connecticut were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 47.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democratic Party, while 40.0% would vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out between October 7 and October 11. The sample size was 1735 registered voters.

Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for the Democrats and 46.0% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Connecticut the Democrats did worse in this poll.
