Results of a new poll carried out by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were distributed on March 26. The poll asked respondents from Connecticut for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 47.0% of interviewees are going to vote for Hillary Clinton, while 40.0% are going to vote for the Republican Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from October 7 to October 11 among 1735 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
