Results of a new poll conducted by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were circulated on March 29. The poll asked respondents from Connecticut for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 47.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 40.0% plan to vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was conducted from October 7 to October 11 among 1735 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
