Connecticut: Clear lead for Democrats in new QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll
QuinnipiacQuinnipiac published the results of a new poll on April 2. In this poll, respondents from Connecticut were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 47.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from October 7 to October 11, among a random sample of 1735 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
