CNN/ORCCNN/ORC poll in Ohio: Democrats are ahead
Results of a new poll conducted by CNN/ORCCNN/ORC were distributed on March 23. The poll asked participants from Ohio for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 50.0% of respondents will vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from March 2 to March 6 among 884 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.5 percentage points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the Democrats and 46.2% for the Republicans.
