On April 27, PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from North Carolina were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 44.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% plan to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was conducted from March 18 to March 20 with 843 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.4 percentage points margin of error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.2% for the democrat Clinton and 48.8% for the republican Trump.
