Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D) were released on April 27. The poll asked respondents from Missouri for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 39.0% said that they will vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 48.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted between August 7 and August 9. The sample size was 859 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 percentage points.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 44.8% for the democrat Clinton and 55.2% for the republican Trump. The vote share for the Republicans is 1.0 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Missouri.
