Results of a new poll carried out by CNN-ORC were published on April 27. The poll asked participants from Ohio for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 50.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 43.0% intend to vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out from March 2 to March 6 with 884 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-3.5 percentage points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the democrat Clinton and 46.2% for the republican Trump.
