New PPP (D) poll in Minnesota: Republicans trail by a moderate margin
On April 27, PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Minnesota were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 44.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 39.0% plan to vote for Party. The poll was conducted between July 30 and August 2. The sample size was 1015 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.1 percentage points margin of error.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.0% for the democrat Clinton and 47.0% for the republican Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Minnesota the Democrats did worse in this poll.

The poll numbers for the Democrats are thus 0.5 percentage points higher than the combined PollyVote, which at the moment foresees a value of 52.5% in Minnesota.
