New FOX News poll in New York: Republicans trail by a very clear margin
Results of a new poll conducted by FOX News were published on April 27. The poll asked participants from New York for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 53.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democratic Party, while 37.0% would vote for the Republican Party. The poll was conducted from April 4 to April 7 among 1403 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 points.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 58.9% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 41.1% for the republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 2.9 percentage points over the average results of other polls in New York.
