Missouri: Comfortable lead for Republicans in Fort Hays St. University poll
On April 27, Fort Hays St. University released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 38.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted between March 3 and March 10. The sample size was 475 adults. The margin of error is +/-4.6 points.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 46.9% for the democrat Clinton and 53.1% for the republican Trump. The Republicans did better by 1.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
