Latest TEGNA/SurveyUSA poll in Georgia: Republicans with clear lead
Results of a new poll carried out by TEGNA/SurveyUSA were published on April 27. The poll asked participants from Georgia for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 41.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 50.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from February 22 to February 23, among a random sample of 1261 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points margin of error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 45.1% for the Democrats and 55.0% for the Republicans.

The poll results for the Republicans are therefore 0.5 percentage points lower than the combined PollyVote, which as of now expects a two-party vote share of 0.0% in Georgia.
