Florida: Democrats hold clear advantage in CNN-ORC poll
On April 27, CNN-ORC released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 50.0% of participants will vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out between March 2 and March 6. The sample size was 854 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.5 points.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the Democrats and 46.2% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Florida the Democrats did worse in this poll.
